WHY USE THEM:
While playing Mah Jongg, did you know that you should be watching several lines at the same time? But how? That seems difficult. Use Mah Jongg Highlighters. They help to improve this skill and strategy of tracking a few lines at once.
The tiles in your rack have the potential to become a few different hands, in different sections of the card. Keep track of all of them with Mah Jongg Highlighters.
You never know what tile you will draw next. So, be ready to follow a different line with ease. The Highlighters are reusable, movable and washable for use over and over again when used on a smooth surface like our Sleeve.
Our Kits come with 3 or 4 Highlighters, in various colors, making it easy for you to keep track of several hands but tough for your opponents to know which lines you are actually playing.
HOW TO USE THEM:
New players: Place a Highlighter directly on the hands you are playing. *You should always have a backup hand.
Intermediate players: Use the Highlighters as suggested above and also put one on any hand to use as a decoy, confusing your opponents and steering their eyes away from the hands you are actually following.
Use a Highlighter to keep track of your opponent’s hand once you’ve figured it out. It may prevent you from throwing their Mah Jongg.
Mah Jongg Highlighters are one size and fit on both our Small and Large Sleeves. They are reusable and washable for use over and over!
Play Siamese Mah Jongg®
Mah Jongg Highlighters are a Must-Have for Siamese Mah Jongg® and Royale SMJ.
Siamese Mah Jongg® is played with only two people. Same rules but without a Charleston. Each player begins with 27 tiles, uses two racks and strategizes for a DOUBLE Mah Jongg.
Royale Siamese is played with three or four people, two sets of Mahjongg tiles, same rules but without a Charleston. All players begin with 27 tiles, use two racks and strategize for a DOUBLE Mah Jongg.
These versions of the game are so much fun! And you’ll be focusing on several lines at the same time. Remain calm and place a Highlighter on each line you are following.
