What are Mah Jongg Highlighters?
Mah Jongg Highlighters are reusable adhesive strips featuring a transparent line of color through the center. When placed over a line on your Mah Jongg card, they make it easy to clearly see and stay focused on the exact line you’re following.
Choosing a line can be tricky — and keeping track of it as you play can be even trickier. Many lines look similar, and it’s easy to lose your place. Our Highlighters help you stay visually anchored on the specific line (or lines) you want to follow, keeping your focus steady and your confidence high.
As your skills grow, you’ll find yourself studying and comparing multiple lines at once. Highlighters make that simple. Whether your eyes are on the tiles, your rack, or back on the card, you’ll always know exactly which tiles you’re waiting for and which you can safely discard. They’re especially helpful while learning the rules and strategies of the game.
Our Highlighters come in assorted colors and are sold as a Kit with our protective Sleeves, or separately as Refills for your Kit.

How do I use them?
How do I use them?
Our Highlighter Kits come with 3 or 4 Highlighters making it easy for you to spot and keep track of several lines but tough for your opponents to know which line you are actually playing.
The Highlighter Kits also come with a smooth, protective card Sleeve. Simply slide your card into the Sleeve and place your Highlighters over the lines you are focusing on. They stick to the smooth surface of our Sleeves. When you’re finished playing just trifold your card closed. The Highlighters will be there and ready for your next game. They are reusable, washable and guaranteed for one year when used on our smooth card Sleeves.
TIPS for using our Highlighters:
NEW PLAYERS: Place a Highlighter directly on the line you are playing and another one on a possible backup hand. *You should always have a backup hand.
INTERMEDIATE PLAYERS: Use the Highlighters as suggested above and also put one on any hand to use as a decoy, confusing your opponents and steering their eyes away from the lines you are actually following.
Also, use a Highlighter to keep track of your opponent’s hand once you’ve figured it out. It may prevent you from throwing their Mah Jongg.
